The staff and volunteers at Kisha Ungjillore e Korces put together a small festival the weekend before this year’s VBS to promote it among the children and families. Everyone was dressed like pirates and there was even a Jack Sparrow look alike.
The children enjoyed fun games, water relays, and dancing. Face painting stations were set up to turn the kids into butterflies, superheroes, animals, and even pirates if they wanted to join the crew. If all this wasn’t enough, there were a few bounce houses to jump and slide on.
The church often does events or campaigning like this to promote their many programs and outreach opportunities. It is a great way to get the word out and to involve the community in all of the fun!
